Red Box Pictures was founded by veteran photojournalists from the Seattle Post-Intelligencer. Our award-winning photographs graced the covers of the newspaper for years until it stopped publishing in March 2009. Our name comes from the P-I's red newspaper boxes that once dotted the city streets.
Today Scott Eklund is the principal photographer at Red Box Pictures. He is honored to be crafting beautiful, storytelling photographs of your wedding day, corporate event or family occasion.
As a veteran photojournalist, he has covered everything from the Superbowl, Seattle riots (think WTO), presidental elections, and fashion to name a fraction of his experience. He has also documented the rise of Seattle area businesses such as Strarbucks, Microsoft, Nordstrom and Costco. Yet, he remains dedicated to documenting individuals, families and businesses with stories to tell.
He is available for travel anywhere to photograph your special event, or he can create unique, elegant images in our Lower Queen Anne studio.
